Is there a carbon arrow out there in the .450 to .500 spine range that comes in a length over 30"? I draw 30", like a turbo charger as far as draws go, but as I age I've been dropping down in weight. I'm around 47 to 51@30. I'm not a fan of EFOC and like to stay around 9 to 10 grains per pound. Currently shooting full length 32" .400 spine Gold Tip Trads. Any suggestions?

According to Big Jims site the GT 35/55(.500) is 32" now. I have some that are 30.5 but they are a couple years old. CX Heritage 150 (.495) is 32.5"

Eric, I'll have to check that out. Last I knew the 3555's only came in 30".

That's what mine are, the nock groove takes it to 30.5, like I say they are a few years old and have probably changed since then.

Mike i believe easton axis comes in 31"

God what I would pay to have that problem .... 25" draw here ... when my form is perfect that is.

Try the Arrow dynamics trad lights. They come in a 32" length and are a very forgiving shaft.

I think a CE 150 would really fly good for you..

X2
shoot them from 35 upto 50+
My bow last year was 50@30(my true draw length) and I used the trads from AD. Heavy points and worked great.
This year, I have been shooting lots of different bows and draw weights. They work good. Tuff arrow as well.

I would look at the CX Heritage 150s Mike as a potential choice.

They will be in the weight range and length you are looking for and you wont have to shoot high FOC IMO.

I use tham in bows around 45-50 at my 30 inch draw.

Aluminum inserts and 150-175 grain points cut to 30.5-31 inches.

These are tough arrows and not too expensive.

My draw length is just shy of 33" and I had a hard time finding long carbon arrows. Carbon express blue streak are listed at 32 3/4" but when measured are 33" .

halfseminole

Anything longer than 33"?  The horse bow I use for most work here I can reliably and comfortably draw to 36".  Been using uncut dowel rods, need to start footing them.  Just looking for something tougher than Hobby Lobby birch.

Try bamboo arrow shafts.  You can get them up to 39" and 95lb spine on the big auction site.

Thanks for all the tips! I'll do a little experimenting.
