Up until recently I only shot 60" and shorter recurves. I just picked up a longer 64" recurve and am loving it. It is a pleasure to shoot. Anyone else like the longer recurves?

I do.  When I shot competitive FITA events, my recurve bows were either 68" (outdoor) or 70" indoor.  My new Tall Tines recurve is 62" and I love it!  There is definitely something to the smoothness and stability of a longer recurve.  Enjoy your new bow!

I love long recurves.  64 is a dream, 66 is even better!

I have a WW and a Brackenburry 62in. and 64in. I've always liked the longer recurves, just seem more stable to me.

64 in quinn & it shoots really well compared to the 60`s I used to have.  Mike

I have a 62" Browning Explorer and a 66" Wing Presentation II.  Both are fine shooters and a pleasure on the draw and release.  

I hunt with the Browning.  Fast and the arrows go where I am focused.

 

 

I've always liked 64" recurves best. Had to go with a 62" on the last one..long as it is offered and can really tell the difference in it and my 64"er's.

I have a Zipper that's 64"......I also have a set of limbs to make a 60", both a about 48# at my 29" draw. The 64"er is really nice to shoot....I sometimes use the set up to travel with....one riser , 2 sets of limbs...same poundage, same arrows.      

I have a 66" Stotler Medalist Elite that is about as smooth shooting as they come.

Here is the 64" Robertson Fatal Stik that I picked up. 46@29 and so smooth. Hope to break it in on an antelope in a couple months. And another set of heavier limbs is on the agenda as well.

My favorite recurve is 64".  I have one on order that is about a week away that has two sets of limbs and they are both 64" long but different weights.  I love the smooth feel of longer bows.

Just picked up my first 64" recurve and really like it.

I gave my only 64" to my son. Offered to replace it this year but he said no thanks. I guess he must like it. It is an old Cheetah that I bought for $65. about 15 years ago.

I liked it but 60" just seems right for me now. I wouldn't mind trying a 62" tho.

All Grayling 64" Kodiaks and Super Kodiaks in the 40lbs range, and all 1957-1963 Kodiak Specials in the 64"-70" range are junk and anyone wishing to get rid of one should contact me immediately. I'll pay shipping so you can rid yourself of said bows. LOL

I have been thinking of selling off several bows which are less than 62"

64" for me with my 27.5" draw, smooth and stable. I know I can get by with shorter, but I like it.

my preference is 60" for HP recurves,, BUT I have a T-Bird that's 63" and it feels like I'm shooting a longbow,, I also have a 53 64" Kodiak static - not sure if that's the same thing.... I just need to shoot a few arrows to lock in the whole hand/eye coordination thing going from center shot to off center.
