For those of you shooting the Savannah, do you use a bow quiver or shoot barebow? I've got one coming and was wondering about bow vibration. I had a Vision at one time and it was a lot quieter with a bow quiver mounted on it. Thanks in advance.  

I shot one without a bow quiver and it was dead still in the hand, and didn't seem loud but I was indoors too...  but quiver would be totally up to you that bow will be fine either way,, I'd even get a FF string with Dacron padded loops and it will be very quiet.

I hunted with my Savannah last year using a selway quick detach quiver. An awesoms combo, but keep in mind the limbs are a bit wider than other longbows. Use one designed to fit a recurve.

I use the Great Northern with the rubber straps..no problems.

The Savannah is a great bow, I used a bow quiver when I hunted with it. The bow itself has fairly good weight without a quiver. No change in performance with one on. If you compare vibration with some other longbows, I believe it would fall in the middle, meaning some vibration but not crazy. I always felt it a bow got a lot quieter with a quiver on you just slowed the limbs down and reduced performance. Good bow choice!

I have a 50 pounder
Ive shot it with multiple quivers from a single arrow quiver to a 6 arrow model.
I prefer a solo or a mini max 3 arrow (but thats me)
The heaver quiver to me make it feel unbalanced (again thats me)
Regardless thay are a great bow. As stated above the limbs are wider than most longbows.
The will zip an arrow though!

won't need a quiver with proper tuning.

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and inputs! I guess I'll shoot it without first and see how that goes and if need be, I'll put an EFA 3 arrow Mini on it. EFA's are my favorite bow quivers due to the weight of them!  

Got an EFA on my 55 pound Savannah.  Shoots great with it on.  Quiver hood is about 7 inches above the shelf and the bottom holder is strapped on about 8 inches below the shelf.  The EFA is so light, it does not throw off the balance of the bow.  I love my Savannah.  Shoots a heavy arrow with authority.

By the way - if you need a string, look up oliverstacy stings.  Josh builds a wonderful string for the Savannah.  He has a Savannah himself so he knows how to build one just right for this bow.  I had him build a 59 inch 12 strand D10 string with loops padded to 14 strands.  It is perfect!  I added 4 twists and it braced perfectly at 7 inches. The trick is in making the loops just right for the Savannah. Since he has one, he knows just the right amount of twists to put in the loop so it fits the string nocks perfectly.

I shoot a Whip, but that Savannah is a great-looking bow!  Personally, I don't like bow quivers, but there's no quiver I really DO like, on or off the bow!
