I have been reading a lot about how an SBD string  can really make spine weaker. I recently purchased a dozen GT 3555. I just want to be sure these arrows will still be stiff enough or do I need to jump to 5575 arrows with the new string before I fletch them up and start tuning.  I shoot a 52# Timberhawk I draw 27.5 RH

I had to drop point weight on one of my bows to 250 grains from 300, but I can't imagine you'd need to jump a whole spine group.

I had to drop point weight about 50gr as well. Jumping spine I believe would be more appropriate for aluminum arrows.. 2016 to a 2018.

I'm going to guess 5575 will be better.  Not that 3555 wouldn't work but I'm betting they will be pretty light for a 52 bow.

I have an insert of 100gr and a field point of 175 on my 35/55 Gold Tips and I shoot them out of my 48 to 59 pound draw weight bows with no adverse effect due to the SBT string.

If you have the 3555, why not try them before getting new arrows? With your draw length you can cut them down bit by bit as much as 2" if you find them too weak. They won't be too light with a 175g point.

geez I'm not sure but my 52@28 preditor shot 29" heritage 150's with 100grain insert and 125gr field point perfect in the bare shaft testing..

after I put the SPD string on (with his silencer puffs he installed) they where weak,, Instead of giving up mass weight over speed by removing the 100grain inserts I opted to take advantage of MORE arrow weight so I found Heritage 250's with 100grain insert and 200grain points bare shafted perfect.    in the speed department they look just a tad slower than the previous 150's which where pretty fast and needed HB shields to work together with my eyes,,,, the 250's get 5" parabolic which speeds them up a bit more (even 4" would work) so I'm very happy with bump up in weight,, I forgot the exact arrow weights but I can get them if needed.
