I just wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th and to thank TG for all the great opportunities to dream about returning to the Land of the Free and The Home of The Brave. Ya, we have our problems with government and political BS but Ole Glory still Flies and there's no other place I'd rather be.

Happy July 4th to you and those serving with you. My wife is the AI of a high school JROTC Battalion and several of her past "kids" are now serving in Afghanistan. The troops are always on our mind. We are so thankful for what you do. Godspeed and blessings.

I know what it's like to be in a combat situation on the 4th of July in a hostile country.

I just hope that you don't have some "new in country" 1st LT. try to take away your ammo like we did...lol He(the 1st Lt) was concerned we might shoot up the night sky in celebration.(our situation was remedied immediately as soon as someone ratted him out)...lol
