A Bow River Archery Oldtimer recurve. Made by Rick Lepp. He stopped making bows before I had a chance to get one and I've always regretted it.

I would have said his Whitetailer TD longbow but I picked up a used one piece not long ago so I think that may violate the rules of this post.

WOW!!! Only 1 bow??? And it HAS to be a bow that I've never owned before?????

Hmmm..... No Grizzly??? Well, I would have to say..... A new, 60" 45# "Grayling Green" Super Kodiak!!!

I've been looking at these for awhile.....
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

Trumpkin the Dwarf

Dan Toelke's new SS recurve. 65 lbs @ 32" would do the trick nicely.

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

StickSlinger74

60" Dryad Orion with the ACS-RC Static Recurve limbs.

If I were to only own and shoot one bow, it would have to be the one that keeps me from getting a new longbow.  My somewhat whip ended yew/bamboo from a five lam Hill blank. I keep trying to get myself a new Hill style bow, but I simply cannot get past this bow.

Id have to go with one of Kirk's Squatches.....never held one,  shot one,  seen one in person.   But Kirk seems like a cool dude....his bows are beautiful and it seems like he loves and is proud of his work!  Grip looks like it would be all me.....and the word on the street is that these things are no slouch in the performance category!  :saywhat:

The only bow I've ever hunted with (after being cured of wheelitis) is an old pre headski red wing hunter and the older gentleman from my church that got me into trad, who i guess you could call a mentor of sorts, shoots a late 90s/early 2000s bob lee take down.  So I think I'll go with a bob lee natural takedown with longbow limbs.  Lets make it 60" and somewhere in the high 40s/low 50s.  Love the stabilok, but last I looked, it was only available on phenolic risers, which I don't care for.
