Passing time until hunting season.. And got to thinking

We've all seen those only one bow questions (and hated them).....but here it is with a twist.
You can only own one bow.  Which would it be?  The twist is that you can only choose a bow that you've never owned before.

Mine would be a Stewart Slammer.  I've never even handled one, but there isn't a single negative post I've been able to find about them.

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

I'd sure like to have Centaur's Big Jim ThunderChild.  I've reminded him a couple times that should he ever want to sell it, I'd sure like to be in line for it.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Whip

That's a tough one. The hard part is thinking of a bow I haven't owned at one time or another.   :knothead:

Oh wait, I've got it. A Tall Tines!

I am a die-hard fan of the two bows I shoot, both Black Widows.

But if I were going to go with a different bowyer... I'd go for a 64" Cari-bow Silver Fox 3-piece longbow at 62# @ 31" draw.

I like Bob Lee recurves a lot, too.  But the Cari-bow is what I'd buy, and I've done a lot of thinking outside of that "Black Widow" box over the past couple of years.

BUT, back to reality... if I were going to spring for another bow right now, it would be a Black Widow PLX with nearly the same specs as the one I have now, only about 10# heavier.
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.
