I've had them dodge flu-flu arrows at 18 yds.

Good job!

Tom don't let em pick on you about hunting squirrels with a 75# bow, they can be pretty tough critters sometimes...   :D

Good shot..

I like your 21st century moccasins...   :goldtooth:

The last squirrel I shot at turned his head just as the arrow got there. Then just sat there. I think he was trying to stifle a laugh. Saw his shoulders shaking a bit.

Good shooting...but I'm wondering how you got a 3555 to fly out of a 75# bow  :)

Over&Under,

I was waiting for someone to ask about the 3555.  The answer is, I don't know.  I know very little about tuning a bow, I shoot what works for me.  I do know that the arrow spine charts say that a 3555 shouldn't fly out of my bow.  My friend Mike set up those arrows for a 60# Griz I like to shoot, and I tried them out in the Fedora and they worked well.    :dunno:

My best guess is that my draw being 27.5, the SS Razorhead being relatively light (@100 grains), and the versatility of the GT arrow, combine to make it work for me.

Good thing you nailed him with your only arrow. You could have been facing a nasty charge. I hear those squirrels are comparable to buffalo with claws!
