I am interested in getting a waldrop pacseat. I'm interested in hearing who has been carrying one into the field hunting with it and how easy it is to pack around

Ringneck

Carries just like an empty pack frame minus the padded straps. Love mine.

ALwoodsman

It is worth the money.  It carries just like a pack frame.  I added a pouch to it and strap all of my extra gear on it.  It works great.  I had lower back surgery late in the spring last year and it was the only seat that I was able to sit in for long periods of time during deer season.

Mudd

It is a very easy seat to pack.

I stick all kinds of extra stuff in/on mine.

The only mistake I made when purchasing my Waldrop seat was in not ordering two...lol

PAC ability is it's,strongest,feature.
I added two little posts to the top corners so my pack will just hang, from it's straps and just lifts off as needed.

I have attached a pack to mine (actually a modified turkey vest).  For turkey season I load it down with ghillie suit, three decoys, and all my calls and misc. stuff.  It's bulky, but not all that heavy, and carries great even for relatively  long distances.

Where can I find more info on these and where do you purchase them?  Curious how much they weigh and how quiet is it for deer hunting?
Everything has a price - the more we accept, the more the cost

I've been using mine for a couple seasons now. Great seats, super comfortable, very quite, very versital. You can a fix a small day pack to the seat so it can be removed once you get to your spot. I also attached a piece of netting to the back that acts as a large pocket that holds my ghillie.

That's one of the nice things about them.

They will work either way.
