"Haven't found a quiver I really like yet, some have good qualities, but they all suck a little."  Gringol, truer words have never been spoken.  For me, wood and back quiver.

two4hooking

Wood and a back quiver for me.

Back quivers take some time and knowledge to get proficient with...just like the trad bow itself.  But once mastered....not going back to the bow quiver. Just feels wrong on a lightweight longbow.

TGbow

I use wood and aluminum arrows, but I think tapered wood shafts are the most forgiving.
I use a bow quiver if the particular bow likes a quiver..if not ,I use a Cat Quiver.
I like the convenience of a bow quiver.

Sam McMichael

Wood arrows in a back quiver just seem to belong with a Hill bow.

cahaba

Nothing like a back quiver full of wooden arrows and a longbow for me. A back quiver can be quiet effective if learned to use properly.
cahaba: A Choctaw word that means
"River from above"

False Cast

I shoot wood arrows pulled - by the nock - from a leather backquiver formed to my back. The Hill-style is a game in and of itself.
