Need a little help with arrow selection.  Bow is 50 pounds at 28, but my draw is 27 inches.  I want to use 125 grain head and I am using feathers.  Shafts will probably be cut to around 29 inches......What size aluminum do you think I need????  Maybe 2016's???

For a longbow you may try a 2016 and if its a recurve might also try 2018.

bulldogto....actually the 2016 may be borderline stiff with 125gr. heads...if you're shooting dacron strings.  If you have a longbow I would opt for 1916's.  A centershot bow will handle the 2016's.  Fastflight will change the equation and probably allow for the stiffer arrow.

I forgot to include that it is a recurve

You'll need a 1916 more than likely.

1916 will be close, especially if cut to 28-29".

If ya go with a 29" arrow and a 2016, if the bow is cut past center ya may need to go to 150-160 grain head, 1916 if ya want to stay at 125 grains. Shawn
