Hennig Preserve, awesome trails and lots of soft stumps. Saratoga springs area. Sorry I have no pics but I might do it again tomorrow and try to take some pics.  :archer2:

Just west of Saratoga 45 min is where the Stumpfest was this year......Rockwood State Forest, you can do a search on here and see some photos......Do search on the events page.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Sounds like a great place.  Do they allow archery shooting in there, though?  Thanks!

Only a mile from my house. Could be wrong but I don't think you can target shoot or hunt in there.

kat

It looks like it it REALLY close to Fish House Fish and Game club near Sacancaga Lake.

Nice area.

I am originally from NY and we are visiting family and friends. I am staying at Lake Nancy just east of Sacandaga reservoir.

Welcome back, Damon.  I hope you enjoy your visit.  I hunt just west of the reservoir.

Yep, that's real close in my book.
It takes me about an hour to go much of anywhere to shoot.
