I'm trying to find out if the 2013 grizzly is fast flight compatible. I'm getting mixed answers. I know the older bear grizzlies are not, but unsure about the new ones.

I don't believe so it's the same design that it's always had. You need a super grizzly for fast flight,and if you go to bears web site you'll find it comes with a Dacron string where as the super grizzly makes a point that it comes fast flight compatible.people may say you can and you probably could but if the factory doesn't recommend it i wouldn't chance it unless you have money to burn .

the 2013 standard grizzly is NOT ff compatible.........the SUPER grizzly is.

I split a Howatt Mamba limb tip into 3 pieces. the FF loop just cuts down into the string groove and keeps going!

Nope Dacron only, I have one and it shoots well with a B50 string. If you want a fast flight compatible Grizzly you would have to get the new super grizzly.
