Hi all, I've been using 320 spined 32 1/2 inches on my Stalker static for a while now and they fly pretty well. Bow is 54@28 and I pull 30.6 to be exact so it's getting about 60, 225 up the front courtesy of insert and point. All signs point to the .320 being right for it.

Well I just ordered a 43@28 longbow so I guess I'll be looking at 48 or so and thought I might get some 400s. I've been trying them out on the recurve and they're all practically going in the same hole. Arrows are about 90gr lighter but I just can't believe it. Anyone use weaker than recommended spine with success?

It can happen. It has a lot to do with bow and individual release.  One though is you are better to be just a little stiff that a little to weak.  A shaft which is to weak will really show up on the not so perfect release moments.

Yep.  I'm shooting 400 VAP's in everything from a 47@ 28# always up to a 63#@28".  Bullet holes!!

It never ceases to amaze me what works through what.  If it works...it works, and it likely only work for you...but okay.

I have similar experiences.  So many variables that contribute to successful and perfect arrow flight.  Carbon .400's cover a nice range for the most common draw weights we use these days.  A very versatile shaft.  I love em!

Haha, well I certainly have a few of those. Maybe the wind was just blowing in the right direction that day. I'll go check it out again.
