Bud B.

I got Ben's totally finished today. I added a pouch at his request.

Bona and Ben,

I really appreciate your bids for the kids at St. Jude. I hope these quivers give you many years of service. I'm already looking forward to next year's auction.

Bud,

Thank you very much! Nice don't even begin to describe my new quiver, I could not be happier. That pouch is much nicer than the Crown Royal bag hanging inside my old quiver, LOL. I always like to have an extra string, along with a stringer while hunting, that will fit the bill perfect. Thanks again Brother.

Thanks,
Ben

Times 2, Bud.  You did an outstanding job on those quivers, and it was a generous labor of love.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Those quivers look great Bud.           Thanks for taking us along on the build.  Do you get the leather locally or order it?  I'm ready to try my hand at building one.

My leather is local.

Ordering it would be a hassle and add cost to the leather due to shipping. Their shop is about 12 miles away. I'm kicking around the idea of making one out of Buffalo grain oil tanned. I am getting too many back quivers sitting in corners though.    :biglaugh:

It is sooo cool to watch my quiver being made. A truly outstanding job on your part Bud! Both the talent to make them and the desire to help the kids!

I don't mind making them but selling them might take the fun out of it. I have one more to make then I'm taking it easy and do some fishing and also scouting for fall.

Thanks for the insight into crafting these Bud....very fine work.  Congrats to those who won them, and for what y'all have done for St. Jude's.
