Moved from Saranac Lake down to Glens Falls this past winter. Looking for some 3d shoots (doesn't have to be trad only), trad gatherings, trad folks to hang out with, or anything else archery/hunting related.

Have you looked into the Mohawk Hudson Traditional Archers yet? A good group that does a monthly shoot at differing venues. You might even get to see Ken Thornhill shoot. Hes a Howard Hill reincarnation.

Check out the trad event section of this sight. The 6th Annual OXTAR shoot in Oxford NY, end of August. Great trad only shoot. 40 targets, night coon shoot, field range and shooting under the lights, free camping. Check it out.

There is a nice club over in Hudson Falls, They put on shoots 2 or 3 X per year.  

Look into Capitaland archery 3 D schedule. If you see other trad archers, go say Hi, Its probably people on here.

Izzy is also a member of MHTA. You have to watch him though. When the money is on the line, he is hard to beat.

Awesome, Thanks for all the info guys. Looks like some good stuff to put on the calendar. I am planning on going to ETAR this year, might be able to fit the OXTAR shoot in as well.

OXTAR is a really fun 3d shoot.  Pretty laid back, real nice targets, and some super food.  Free camping, showers, great people hosting the event, you can't go wrong.  Hope to see you there.
