Here is our son Karsten today shooting a 1959/1960 34# Bear Alaskan.

He shot well today and we discussed our plans for the squirrel opener this September!

Just had to share.

Maybe I need to break out my 48# Alaskan of the same vintage for squirrel season!

I started on squirrels & they are a great way to start hunting they can teach you a lot. That's some good looking form he has good luck this season.  :)

They do grow fast!  It was just me and the boys yesterday.  Here is Karsten's little brother.  The pic isn't incredibly clear but I think you can see how he is feeling.

He is intent on getting a turkey with his bow as soon as he's able.  I am not sure where that came from but I feel the same as he does!
