I couldn't wait!!!! Was up to see Dan and family. He has a new recurve ready to be released to the public REAL SOON!!! I shot his prototypes and the final model. WOW! It is a semi Static tip recurve 64" AMO. It truly draws to 33" with out a hint of stacking. (I watched it on the scales as Dan continued to draw to 33"+ and the weight was a smooth and steady increase of +or- 2 1/2# per inch) This bow is smooth and very quick. It is faster than my Whip and by my eyeball it is faster than the Chinook as well. The riser is light like a Whip riser and flows with the lines of the bow.

Anything that Dan and Jared have come up with is bound to be a great bow.

uh oh...Dan must have been listening to my dreams. I gotta start saving now.

Although lesser known than his Whips, Dan's recurves are as fine as any out there. I have owned his older "SL" take-down, a Curlew take-down and a one piece Chinook. I have shot a couple of his superb little 52" Kestrals there in Ronan and shot a Lynx longbow/recurve combination at 3d shoots for a couple of months when he first brought the bow out. Like his Whips and my favorite the Super D, all of them were flawlessly crafted of beautiful woods. They were well-mannered, fast and like every Toelke bow, exceptionally quiet. I can tell by talking to Dan about this new 64" recurve that it is going to be special.

Looks like a 64" chinook and that ain't a bad thing.  I'm not running out to grab a new one, but you boys better be fast when that first used one hits the classifieds!  Lol

Combines part of what I know and love with those static tips I've been so curious about...

A nice long 64" semi-static tip Toelke recurve. Many prayers have been answered.

A classic grip at about #50 might could get me to sell a chinook or two.
