Mine is standing up in a hammock with a 40mph cross wind. Makes it tough to shoot a 3" group at 20 yards.     :saywhat:

SERIOUSLY... Adds to the drama. In my case they are always in front of the river. Where you are sure to lose your $10+ arrow!

River what river? There is no river just a target thats all just the target.

Another one for the standing bear. You wonder why so many of us have problems with it. I will not even think about it when I shoot it and still have problems with it.

It warms my heart to see that everyone hates the standing bear.

I vote we call it the Dancing Bear!

Best shot I've made on a 3D target was on one of those "dancing bears". But I hate shooting when my dad is watching. I have struggled with target panic in the past, and anytime my dad is watching me shoot, it comes back. Don't know why, but there it is.

Anytime I shoot sitting down. I do fine standing, kneeling, twisted in odd positions, but the shot sitting is one I wont take at an animal.  I have tried to overcome it, but it is my fail shot 90% of the time or more. I can't even predict which way I will miss. No camo tents for me.

Moleman, which knee do you have up when you shoot off of one knee? I read something recently that showed what should've been obvious to me. When down on one knee, the one that should be down is the FRONT knee! Gives better string and bow claerance and has at least as much stability as the back knee being down. Maybe that'll help?

P.S. I'm SO glad that I'm not the only one that suffers from inter-cranial gas (aka brain farts) when shooting at the bear targets!!! That is the one "trophy" that I desperately want to achieve in  hunting, a stickbow bear! I just figured it was my brain trying to discourage itself from success!! Lol!
