How do these gloves run in size? I have an average sized hand. Would I order a medium or a large? Is there a way to measure your hand to tell?

If you outline your hand and fax it to American leathers they'll get you the right size. Also if you order direct and get the wrong size they exchange them no problem. They took real good care of me to get one large enough to fit.

Wallcrawler

I wear a size 10 or large glove by regular standards.  My Big Shot is a medium and has stretched to fit wonderfully.

matt matney

I would order a medium.  I wear the same size glove   as wallcrawler and I ordered a large it fits just not as tight as I would like it in the finger stalls.  (THEY WILL STRETCH)

snag

Thanks guys for the info. I like the idea of the outline of the hand.

Guss

I had always worn a large in other gloves, so I got a Large in the Big Shot. I should have gotten a Medium, the finger stalls are a little loose now. I would also go with the outline.  Jr.

SOS

Go with the medium or the hand outline.  Stalls stretch a little large and they tend to rotate - tight is good.

snag

Yeah, I went with the medium. Rather it fit a little tight and wear in over time. Thanks.

Medium,  I sent in my outline and he said I have an average hand size and they sent me a medium.  It felt a little weird at first because I was used to the Neet glove with the elastic back but it fits great now.

LBR

If at all possible, try them on first (like at a shoot where there are vendors that carry them).  I sent in a trace of my hand, but it didn't fit.  Sent it back with no hassle at all, but when I got it the second time it still didn't fit.  I was already happy with another glove so I gave up and gave it away.  I won't buy a glove anymore unless I can try it on first.

I second the try it on first if you can idea.  I shoot the same size Big shot glove as other gloves -- large.

NDTerminator

My hand falls between medium & large, and I've found a large Big Shot fits perfectly.  I have three, two Elk and one Buffalo.  Best glove made, IMO...

The Big Shot I own is wonderful.
The only complaint I have about it is my fault.   The glove is just a little too big.  I should of ordered a bit smaller and broke it in.
I bought a Damascus glove right after buying the Big Shot b/c of the size issue...and guess what...I went back to the oversized Big Shot.
