Not too old ....

After an event filled Mothers Day I was able to get away for a short walk.. I had walked about a mile down a right of way through the river bottom when I saw a few pigs.. Seems like I've seen this movie before .

Anyway, as I was closing the distance I was building that focus on the sweet spot.. Also was enjoying that feeling, my heart thumping in my chest letting me know I was ALIVE. I think I could have gotten closer but I knew I was good to go so I drew the bow while REALLY focusing on that spot immediatly behind her shoulder. As I touched anchor the shot was away. I watched the arrow disappear in the exact spot I was concentrating on. The little sow crow hopped about 20 or 30 feet and fell over !! I don't know the exact distance but my guess is she was between 25 and 30 yards.
I had my favorite Hill bow, a 68" Wesley that's around 60lbs at my draw.. It feels as smooth as silk and is nearly silent.. Was using a Gold Tip from Big Jim's and an Eskimo with a 100 grain steel adapter..  Way cool, I am truly blessed !

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Outstanding Pat. You are tuff on the pork.RC

Pat I think you should look at it as another part of your already self described "event filled Mother's day".

I bet if you had looked around a little you might have found some wildflowers to stick on it so it could have passed as yet another "wonderful" Mother's Day gift to your sweetheart.

Congratulations!

God bless,Mudd
