Hi, My question is about left wing, right wing location. Or what i mean is this, shooting left wing fletching naturally comes from the turkeys left wing, (upper section of feather). now i got to thinking if i take the feathers from the right wing and use the bottom sections, that will become left wing? Anybody doing this, is it standard practice??? Or are the bottoms to soft? I'll probably try this a little latter on but maybe your input will same me the time.

The feathers you want are the longer primary or flight feathers. They are only one sided, the ones you are thinking about are secondaries

so you think the secondarys will be to soft?

They will be too soft.  I have tried it and they pretty much lay down in flight. They work pretty good for spiral wrapped flu flus thought.
