Want to see some trail cam pictures? Is it buck or doe?

Ed (eldest son) checked the cameras on our acreage yesterday. Not a lot of pictures, but some darn nice deer.

This one was on his camera. We are debating whether it's a buck or doe. I'm kind of leaning toward big, old doe full of babies, but Ed thinks it's a buck...too big and muscular for a doe. No antlers showing, but it might be a little early. What do you guys think? If you click on the picture it should link back to photobucket so you can blow it up to full size.

Nother one from Ed's cam a few minutes later:

Some from my camera.

This one is the only nighttime picture. It was from Ed's camera.

Doe.  Bucks here are already sporting a few inches of bone.

Some might not. We had bucks in our area still sporting both antlers well into April. That said, I am on the doe side myself. Doesn't really matter much, but it's something fun to do in the off season.    :D

That's a pregnant doe.  If it was a buck you would see where the antlers were or the start of new antlers.  I have pregnant does all around my house right now that look identical to that one.

Looks like a healthy doe, Our bucks right now look skinny from the rut and winter. So that is my guess.

Yup. Looks like a doe on her way to the maternity ward.
