Another loner here.     :wavey:

I've hunted with another person two times in the last 25yrs. Before that I pretty much hunted alone.

Recurve50 LBS

I do most of my hunting alone. I prefer to hunt with a buddy for safety reasons, help dragging a deer or for ideas where the action might be better than the place we're hunting.

I like hunting alone but I really enjoyed hunting out west with good friends and the camp life but being 72 I have lost a lot of friends who passed on or just quite hunting because of old age in the last decade.

Me and my family usually hunt together, being that we are all on the same piece of property but have our own spots, this way we can help each other track deer, and we've got the property we hunt covered. However I am solo when it comes to trad, everybody else shoots...do I really want to sin here or not?

Nah, let's just say they can't see anymore and therefore need rifle-scopes on their "bows" but about half of the time I like to hunt alone, it gives me the full hunting experience when I gotta track and hunt on my own and sharpens my outdoor skills.

I mostly hunt alone. Sometimes my son will join in and I do have one hunting bud but he is one of those fair weather hunters and he uses training wheels.
Common Sense, really isn't very common

Me. Hunting with someone else just seems to lessen the experience for me. Been hunting alone for a long time now.

A 3-D shoot or in camp is fine, but seldom do I want company.  Makes it a lot quieter.

I've done both, but prefer having the right hunting partner to share camp with.  In the field though, I'd much rather be on my own.  That's also why I generally don't care much for guided hunts.

In the end, it is not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. Abraham Lincoln.

I like hunting alone, and have never hunted with a trad bow with anyone else (7 years).  This fall will be the first time that I go out with a partner, and it's a long, wild float trip for moose in Alaska.
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

With my longbow in hand I go it alone...

The only conflict I run into is within myself!
Generally I win the argument, lol..

90% of the time I hunt alone. Elk hunting I don't mind hunting with 1-2 others though because I like to be the caller and watch the show. Deer though I prefer to go alone

Mainly on my own - to hunt with the two other guys I know who hunt usually means a lot of added driving time which means less family time - as my usual hunting grounds on family land it's just easier to hunt alone but spend time with the family when I'm done - M

Enjoy hunting alone - always have. Usually fish alone unless my wife is with me then she is my partner. She enjoys fly fishing as much as I do.

Roger Norris

I hunt alone when hunting deer here in Michigan. When chasing rabbits I like some company.

Out west hunts, have always been with a partner, and I enjoyed it.

I like both However,

If hunting with others, I like to share camp and we each do our own thing.

I hate hunting other peoples schedules but now with sharing a car with my wife, I am grateful for anyone willing to give me a ride.

Have all my success alone.  Really enjoy solo hunts but I do look forward to taking my son when he gets older.

Alone but not by choice; used to have a partner but he was lost to an accident.   Work had me moving  around and relocating so I never really connected with anyone.
