Just got an email from Uncle Barry that he heard Grant Young had passed.  Not sure when it happened so if this is old news mods can can it.   Just bummed out.  I got to hunt with him in Canada. And then that following spring in Texas. He was a sweet guy for sure. And a damn good shot with his 70+# modified Bear bow.
You will be missed sir.  Godspeed....

Sad news for sure.  Had a great time with him on BQII.  A true Southern Gentleman and great guy.  Prayers up for his family.

Grant was very knowledgeable, a dedicated traditional bowhunter, and will be missed. God Bless.

That is bad news Matty.  I was just thinking about Grant recently and wondering what became of him.  One of the most articulate and intelligent individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting from Trad Gang.  He will be missed for sure.

I never met Grant, but we exchanged lots of mails about Bear TDs and SKodiaks. He was very informative and always fast to answer with plenty of writings. We exchanged some philosofical themes too and always  agreeded to each other positions.
I started to wonder what was going on when he quit responding.still have many of those mails.
Rest in peace my friend, you are on my prayers.

I never met Grant but we used to talk on the phone several times a month and exchanged emails regularly.  He was very knowledgable about Bear bows.  I often thought about him and wondered why he just quit corresponding.  I called him about 2 months ago; he told me he was just busy at work.  Never dreamed that would be our last conversation.  I was very saddened by the news and will miss him.  He was greatly respected by me.
