how many people are shooting pittsley predators bows, and what do they think

Stew-The Predator recurve is one of the smoothest drawing and fastest shooting recurves available, and has got to be one of the best buys in trad archery equipment.I have been shooting all my life am 60 yrs old and have owned or shot about all the big name bows out there and I now shoot a predator and have another on order. All that said the predator has a bit different handle that some like and some don't-takes a little getting used to,it puts the arrow right on top of your hand(where it should be ,in my opinion)it did'nt take me long to get used to it and now I really like it. I'd say that it is a bow that is easy to shoot well compared to a lot of others that cost alot more or may have a little more fancy stuff on them.Hope this helps---    CAM

I dont own one,But have shot them. They are a great Bow.I shot a Lot of different bows,at the Trad Expo west,a couple yrs ago,and the Predator, was in the top 3 favorite bows i shot there. There were a lot of Top line Bowyers there.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

I own 3 Predators , 2 Takedowns and a one piece ! great Bows, Ron is an awesome Bowyer!

Good bows, fast as heck, reliable and stable.

Gotta watch his grips though...as they can vary a bit, and are way too massive for some, or need to be rounded along the front edge where your fingers meet.

Only 60" is available...

If you are one to like the arrow right on top of your hand, here is the bow for you.  My somewhat chubby hand even caused me problems with right wing feathers.

Even though the bow is plenty fast, smooth, shoots where you look, and is also handsome, I could never get the two Predators I once owned as quiet as I wanted.  it's still a good recurve...

realy love it, grip took some getting used to but as said above puts the arrow right at the top of your hand which i like.

but as Lon "blackhawk" said cant get it as quiet as my silvertip

There is more to the Hunt.. then the Horns

I have a Predator. It's the only bow I own. I shot a lot of bows, some of them pretty expensive until I settled on a Predator.

No looking back. I love it.

I have 11 bows and I like the Predator best.  It is without a doubt the fastest and smoothest of them all.  Ron is great to deal with and stands behind his work.  He has GREAT customer service.

I love the predator and have 2.  1 old 1 new.  Look around for an older one you would like, it is definately better.  The new ones are cheapened down a bit probably for production and warranty reasons.  (thicker handle, less of a hook in the curve, limb wedge design is different, bow is heavier in weight).  I modified the riser on my new one to be happy with it.  The old one is faster -
