It's now legal to hunt hogs at night in several states. Practically everyone in the Southern states recognizes the detrimental effect hogs have on agriculture, cirus, and cattle, to say nothing about jarring your fillings out when operating a tractor in hog country.
Mainly because continual night hunting of porcines will turn them even more nocturnal, and because hog guides have quite a long day as it is...we do not allow our clients to hunt at night. Well, maybe once in  awhile...
But Jim and I being hog hunting maniacs, do have a guides night out now and then. And what do we do?
We go to a good friend's 3000 acre cattle ranch and trad bowhunt hogs at night.
What?...you thought we went out for seafood?
We use the Sniper Hog Lites red and green bow mounted flashlite. They use rechargeable batteries, last 4 or more hours, have a two level switch, and are bright enough to film with using our standard small economical JVC cameras.
As with all things mechanical, sometimes things malfunction.
While guiding this year, my red one had a bad switch. It's four or five years old. At the same time, the green one went really dim.
On a Sunday night, I emailed Sniper and left a message. I got a return email the same night telling me the needed parts would be sent without charge by USPS.
The stuff arrived as promised, which fixed both problems and truly this gave me new praise for the few companies out there that realize that this type of customer service welds the client solidly to them.
Being treated like this, I would always recommend and use only the Sniper Hog Light.
