Had a blast at the NC shoot this past Saturday.  I was warned     ?!  NO!

Mike Treadway, Treadway Bows, is a truly nice and sincere bowyer who does not need any advertising or website to get the word out.  His quality and the way he treats his customer speaks for itself, and he stays out over a year on custom builds.

As I drooled over his fine looking stable of stock longbow that he had at the show, Keith suggested that I try shooting one just for kicks and giggles.  Bad mistake !!!

My new Treadway Black Swamp is a 60" R/D longbow, 51# @ 28".  The riser is Chechen with Satinwood, and the limbs are Canarywood over bamboo.  Man does she feel good in the hand!

Shoot really well as well!

You should file a lawsuit for h taking advantage of you and forcing you to buy such an un needed bow. How dare these bowers tempt us by letting us shoot and handle their bows!!! LOL

I always say I never meant to buy another bow.....     Mike T. is a great guy to talk to and builds one heck of a bow! That's a nice one you got there!!

That is a sharp bow. Mike is as good as they come.

And, most importantly, he recognizes he has a problem so he is on the road to recovery. I understand the treatment lasts a lifetime and shows only marginal improvement, though.

I can see why you were sucked in.  That bow is beautiful!  And I'll bet it shoots as good as it looks.

In defense of myself, my exact word's were, " you need to try one of those Treadway's, but if you dont want to buy a bow , dont shoot one, because your gonna buy it " . And to top it all off, it was the one I was looking at,lol. Thanks Bob, you saved me some money, and my wife really thanks you.

Mike makes a great longbow and is interesting to talk to. Thought I was smart keeping away from Mikes, and Ben Grahams tents--- and got snagged by a used Blacktail on this site.
Maybe a computer wizard could fix up some software that would lock this computer out of Tradgang and Stickbow Bows for sale...
