7/25 cute and spotted all over



9/14 spots are visible only on the rear legs and down the spine, coat is still red



9/28 Spots gone all dressed in gray and ready for their first hunting season

Dano you seeing any critters at all?

The little buck was just out here eating acorns for the last 20 mins. Got about 30 more pics of him

No darlin, I didn't strip them, they got stripes  :rolleyes:   , if I ever get two big uns they will make a fine bow backing. Besides we had them for dinner with a beer batter on em.    

Yeah Dano, You need to sweet talk them people over at the big dam into letting you fish right up next to the dam. I took some pics of some of them babies that'd be more than big enough to back a bow!

Thanks Mick, have ya seen the "Big 10 pointer" yet this year?

No Dano, actually a neighbor told me just the other day he heard a buck matching his description was taken on the next road east of me (less than 1/2 mile) last winter. Nobody has seen the big one all summer. He was a dandy.

This was him 3 years ago.

He was a beauty, That explains why you guys didn't see him last season, that's life.

Dianne and Brian both missed him once over the years. He was more than a worthy opponant for the Lotz clan. I hope some of his offspring which he surely sired are still around to remind us of his magnificience.

By just reading the title, I thought this thread was about kids and I got depressed all of a sudden thinking about my boys growing up. Anyway, cool pics of the deer.
