Just curious, what is the best way to learn leather work, tooling particularly, for someone that knows absolutely nothing about it ?

Tandy Leather beginner's kit. Some Al Stohlman books are good to have on hand...also at Tandy.

Try Youtube as well.

I believe I got that from Rastaman a few years ago. It is a Helle blade. It has some file work on the back edge.

i have done a few quivers in my time and all hand sewing done and then burn some sort of animal on to it or put beads on em etc etc. all good fun   :thumbsup:

I pick up old leather items at thrift stores and make them into quivers, sheaths, etc.  I like the wethered look of used leather.
