Jack, I hear Marblewood limbs look pretty nice...   :bigsmyl:

Seriously though, I think you will be happy no matter which woods you choose!

Jack, I have been agrevating them a good bit but haven't sank an arrow in them yet. It has been tough this year for some reason they do not seem to be very responsive.

Mine will have a cocobolo riser and koa limbs.  The main stripe in the riser will be koa sandwiched by black and maple.  Rough sheep horn riser overlay and limb tips...and of course the checkered grip.

Im going with the 60" (actually wish they made a 62" or 64" one-piece) and will keep it relatively light, 47#-50# at my 29" draw length.  Light enough to shoot all day and still plenty for harassing the local whitetails...   :saywhat:

Easykeeper

That's going to be a beauty WRV, looking forward to pics!

Easykeeper, sounds good. Very similar to mine, coco-macasser riser, koa limbs, rough sheeps horn on riser and tips. 60"-51#@29". Its awesome, can't send you pics, the puter wont let me do it, can't access my email or pics.

I got on the list today! I ordered a one piece 60" @ 50 lbs. now I have to figure out what kind of woods. Beth sent me a bunch of pictures to look at today. I think I am going for the checkered grip and elk antler tips and maybe some antler veners on the handle. If I can get to a computer I will post some of the pictures she sent!

Jack Whitmire Jr

NEVER EVER order a Schafer without the checkered grip they are awsome !

Let me know when you guys get some pictures of the one piece or wood that you are going to have it made from .

I would love to have mine in time to hunt the WV rut with but I'm don't think it will be here until Christmas .
