Go get'em Big Jim.  You've earned it!

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

BigJim

Unfortunately I won't be leaving until the 25th, but it has all been aranged and am I excited!
I have taken a eastern and osceola with my longbows and with a little luck, maybe this trip could produce the others ie. merriams and rio. A slam is not that big of a deal but it is kind of cool knowing I did it with a bow of my own make.

I won't have time to build a new bow, so I have been shooting my thunderchild and Desrt BigHorn the most lately. Will most likely bring those. They both are 81#'s and the thunder child is 58"s and D Bighorn (my new recurve)is 60"s.

I have yet to get a complete pass through on a turkey so I have been thinking about bumping up the weight  :)  Don't quite know what's going on there. I have shot them all in the back making them do the cosmic face plant. Don't know if there forward momentum and then the earth is stopping the arrow or what.....ultimately, dead is dead and they all died.

See ya'll in Ky next week followed by N.C. thanks, bigjim

My new dog stays home with mama...Besides, she could eat more than one turkey a day!

Have a great time Jim. Oh and by the way thanks so much for providing all that extra shock cord for the kids armguards down in Tannehill last month. Very much appreciated and the kids really enjoyed building their own.
