The jacket is a British chemical suit with the charcoal cut out. I added the sneaky leaves to the sleaves, shoulders and sides.  What do you think. I took some black and white pics too to see what it may look like to deer. What do you think?

I like the "high end camo" but don't like the high price. I rarely buy any camo unless it's on sale after season. I feel that most hunting products are like fishing lures..(meant to catch the fisherman)! I like to use military surplus garments due to low cost and high durability.

After seeing another leafy suit post, I doubt I'll buy any more of the sneaky leaf product. Very good use of alternative materials (landscape fabric) to achieve an awesom look! I can use real leaves as a pattern and make fake ones out of lightweight fabric.

Another use for that black landscape fabric would be darkening the inside of a pop up or home made blind too!

You better not hang out in any Osage brush, might be cut down as bow wood. Looking good.

Here's a pic of it in action instead of just hung on a branch.

Well doggonit, would be nice to have a pic of more than your bow and a coupla arrows.......go ahead and post a pic of the suit too    ;)
The older I get, the better I was.

That is funny I thought you were in the suit in the first picture.  Blends in very well, very good at breaking up your outline which seems to be the idea when designing camo.  What do you use to keep the string from snagging on the suit when you release.
If you are the only one laughing it wasn't funny.

I use an arm guard or gather up the excess material with a rubber band. I left the leaves off the inside of my bow arm.

You better not take it off in the woods, you might not find it again.

Great job.

Me thinks them big bucks at McAlester Army Ammo plant are in BIIIIGGGGGG trouble!
Well, who'da thunk it!

**DONOTDELETE**

where did you get the leaves from? are they the same as the ones from wally World?

razorsharptokill

It's funny you shoulkd say that MI_Bowhunter, I hung it on a branch yesterday while I did som scouting thinking I'd just pick it up on the way back to the truck. I almost didn't find it!

I used the "sneaky leaf" product. I've bought some online and I also found some at Bass Pro cheaper. A guy could use fake stuff from wally world but it may be too crunchy and loud. These leaves are fairly soft. I think I'll hot glue them to the fabric though instead of the safety pins.
