I have a new Bear Montana #45. I want to use wood but don't know where to start. I draw 25.5" and at that pull the bow measures 39#, What do I choose for spine, arrow length and point weight, I figure that that will only be a starting point. I will only be shooting target and 3D. Any and all help and advice will be very welcome.

Prairie Drifter

My guess would be 35-40 @27" w/ a 125gr tip, if you have a b-50 string.

I have a very similar set up, and 40-45's cut at 28" with 125gr field points work for me.

Fling gets my vote! You get wood below 28"s and it really starts to stiffen up. Shawn
