So Im not sure were to post this but I would like some help if anybody can help me out. I have an uncle who had a bow made by Jim Hoaker in illinois. I was wondering if anybody out there has heard of this bowyer and if so what do they think.

Try this:

Look at the picture page and you will see Jim. He is a real artist. I think it is the same Jim Hoaker. You could contact him through his daughter. Tell her Bill Wright sent you.

Jim lives in Charleston,IL. He is an outstanding carver and a retired government engraver. The correct spelling for his name is Hoker.
