Good looking bow Greybark. Can't post on that thread since it got moved to the computer forum.

I like the Zircote and the bow. Just ordered a 62" PTF-X last wk. with Zircote. I want an almost black color and Toby said he had some real dark.

Hey Hoyt , that dark Zircote will be very nice . Are the limb veneers Zircote also ?

Thanks Mike , thoght I was confused before . Now two treads both going opposite directions . Hopefully Adm can straighten this out .Since two of the TG Sponsers are mentioned and a bows pics are involved I hope for one main thread of "greybark`s Bow Pics "
  I certainly apogise to Adm and TG members for this mix up .

Ken, the limbs veneers will be a hair lighter shade of Zircote with bamboo cores. Riser will have real fine pinstripe accent of red and some black mixed with the zircote.

That's a very nice looking bow!

The bow is a BW PTFX 62in and 48Lb @ 28in .
  The Zircote riser in the shade has arich dark colour and in sunlight lightens up with a nice meandering grain and takes on an almost transparent look .I sure underestimated the beauty of Zircote and the thin bamboo laminations (no red) enhances the classic lines of this style of riser .Rodger and Toby at Black Widow (TG Sponsers) suggested the Zircote as it would be a nice contrasting match with the limbs.Boy were they right .
  The Myrtle Burl limb veneers came from another TG Sponser IdahoCurt and with the mixture of burls , swirls , curls and some spault are a delight to look at . The veneers match front and back with the figuring and colour run the full length of the limbs .
  Curt was pleseant and patient and was enthusiastic with his appreciation of nice highly figured woods .
  Like most bow photos on here the pics do not do justice to the bow .
  The "Customer first " attitude and Rodger`s and Tobys patience is appreciated .
  Black Widow and IdahoCurt a match up made for one very happy Canuck ..
