I use wraps. And, I crest with Bohning paints. When I dipped I used Bohning as well, but the wraps are so much easier.

AAh yes.. the majical cure for an uninteresting arrow. My pal is the guru of wraps..(bigwhoopie) I have zero technological info and less skill but I do play a pro on this pc! I'm a wooden arrow-exterior decorator. I keep it very simple..gasket laq and testors paint on the crudest looking spinner you've ever seen. I think my arrows are what indians-wouldofiftheycouldof! It is great fun!

I have started using gasket laquer and really like the ease of use.  However, I have tried to crest and put another coat or two of GS over the crest and all it did was smear it or completely remove the cresting.  So being the fart smeller I am I now dip 5-6 times in GS then crest with testors and then apply a coat or two of poly over the cresting.

I use gasket laquer and dip after cresting.  I use Bohning Crest laquers, let em dry at least 24 hours, then finish with the Gasket laquer..

I first apply 3 coats of Gasket laquer, crest, and more laquer.  Testors paints will smear every time.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

gasket lacquer is NOT waterproof. Just bear that in mind when you are using it.

I know, but around here it rains so seldom that when it does I fold up my tent and go home..

I like automotive touch up paints.  Good paint and lots of colors.  I did with Minwax oil base poly.
