I am wanted to try backing a bow with snakeskin. I am thinking on using Texas ratsnake.  Can someone tell me a good source for purchasing air dried snakeskins?

Mike Yancy has always been a good source of diamond back skins.  He is a sponsor on here.  His company is Pine Hollow Longbows.

Charles Sinclair, goes by Snakewood3 on Trad Gang, has some great looking Texas Rat Snake. Got mine from Mike Yancy, great guy to deal with. Can't beat Texas Rat Snake with Cocobolo, have a Centaur skinned in it and I'm going to do a second one as soon as I can work up the nerve to start it.

I dealt with YORNOC.  David is a sponsor on here. Super guy to deal with.

All the best on your project.

X2 on Snakewood3!  Got some great cotton-mouth skins from him on a Centaur project.

I have bought 2 snake skins off of Charles Sinclair "Snakewood3" and have nothing but praise for the transaction.  In both cases i needed the skins shipped to Jim Neave's of Centaur Archery to go on bows Jim was making for me.  No problems everything was handled in a professional manner, and Jim said the skins were of the highest quality he has seen, well done Charles!
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.
