Ok guys, I've always wanted to try one of the Habu's because of the great reviews from some of our highly respected members...Jon Simoneau(spelling)....overbo and others.
I finally found one in my perfect specs and layed down the cash (the wife like to have killed me...!!)
I normally shoot 1 pc longbows because I love the light weight and point ability, but my accuracy was ok, but nothing to brag about...especially at distances beyond 25 yds..not the bows fault by any means....but the archers ability..!
So I wanted to find something that had a little more mass weight,  belly mounted limbs for a little more forgiveness that would make up for my deficiency's. I've shot a lot of different bows, and have traded and sold a lot that I wish I had back....but the Habu is without a doubt the finest shooting bow I've owned...!!

Very nice bow! These are terrific shooting bows that are truely dead in the hand. One of the best I have.

That's a beauty. That is some dark Cocobollo. I would have guessed it to be ebony by the pics!  Enjoy shooting it!

Easykeeper

What, only one pic?

I guess it's enough to see it's a beautiful bow but come on, through us bow junkies a couple more...   ;)

Longrifleman

I absolutely love my Habus!  I shoot them consistently better than my Schafer, Eaglewing, or Hill country.

Brock

Congrats...I have one of his original models...the Habu recurve I bought in 1999....great shooting bow.

I used a Great Northern Quick Mount with the reverse limb mount adapters...great quiver...quiet...easy to remove...no noise when shooting.
Keep em sharp,

Here's one I owned and hunted with in 2011. It is a cocobolo, 62" recurve.

A very nice bow.  I dream about getting one someday.

Glad you like your new bow, I love my VyperKhan w long bow limbs.  I have to say that Chris has been doing R/D on his recurve limbs and told me Saturday that he hit a home run.  Looks like I will have to try a set out.
