11:15 tomorrow morning I will be having this rotator cuff tear repaired and cyst removed from my right shoulder. Had to hunt left handed this past year, couldn't draw any of my RH bows back.

Doc sez if I work hard at rehabing, should be back to work first week of May...maybe. Shooting the bow will require additional work on my part. Doc suggests I start pulling back 25-30# and work my way up....SLOWLY.

Joe,

Best of luck with the surgery.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Hope you are well enough in time for turkeys.

Good luck.  I had one done about 14 years ago and all went well.  Don"t ignore the physical therapy.  My daughter is an orthopedic surgeon and told me the operation isn't worth much without the therapy.  Lou

In my prayers, Joe.  Take care and do just what the Drs. tell you.

My wife is a therapist. The therapy will keep your shoulder from "freezing up" after the surgery. Oddly, you can lose more range of motion and strength AFTER the surgery if you don't do the therapy.

My stepdad wouldn't listen and now he is out of luck and can barely use his shoulder. He should have followed through with the physical therapy.

Good luck and God bless!

PT hurts, but not shooting your favorite stik hurts more.  Work it but carefully.
