Easton Tribute xx75 shafts/arrows sizes to 2016 Saw these on line (but not on the easton site) was wondering if anyone tryed them yet? Or has info on them  I'm looking at the 2016s

I have some in 2016.  They are great!  I can't tell any difference between them and the classics except for the color.  I love wooden arrows but I got to tell ya, you can get these cheaper than good wood shafts!  I started off with aluminum back in the '70s ....kinda looks like I'm gonna finish out with'em too!  

Jut got some 1816's in the mail today. Waiting for the inserts and we'll see how they do. They look well finished and they are factory cut to right about 30" to the end of the swedge. This length should work good for the bow I want to launch them from.

Well, They didn't work out for the bow I wanted them for, but it may because they are spined just a bit too light. I only made up 2 arrows and I had a hard time getting the nocks to center evenly on the swedge. One arrow would NOT fly consistently, but that could be due to the poor nock alignment. The other arrow seemed pretty consistant. I'm going to order another 12 shafts in 2016 since my 500/2016 Gamegetters seem to be perfect for this particular bow.

The Tributes are $10 per dozen cheaper than the Gamegetters, but the Gamegetter press in nocks may be worth the difference if I can't get the nocks to stay straight on these Tributes. I'm gonna give 'em one more chance.

On a side note, I tried the Genesis orange 1820's from this bow and they are grouping and flying great!!! Just a little left. For a "beginner" shaft they seem like a fantastic bargain for 3D shoots and maybe even hunting and so far show to be very durable with the thick walls!!!

Will report on the 2016's when I get a chance to try them.

Just finished a dozen 1716's with a 4" shield cut and they fly great out of 35# target longbow.  When you glue on the nock put some glue on the taper and when the nock is put on revolve it when you line it to the cock feather.  Then pull it off the shaft and reset it.  It will stay aligned and stright

I just made these 2016 up the other day. the only difference in these over the GameGetter is the Uni-Bushing. I started stocking them because so many of my customers wanted a cheap aluminum arrow with the glue on nocks. Great arrows for the money.
