I'm in Barrie along with four other guys that shoot Trad.  A couple of us belong to York County Bowmen which has been around since 1956 and is just outside of Newmarket. Trad archery is getting stronger within the club which also has a good number of Olympic and compound archers. We have about 300 members, indoor 20 yd range and outdoor 3D on 50 or so acres. If you are in the area, drop me a PM and let's go shooting.

Hey guys.Just moved to Peterborough 2 weeks ago.Setting up my bowmaking shop, and should be back in business in a couple of weeks from now. Really like the area, and the people are very friendly. Need to find someone to shoot with though.

Jeff in St Albert, Alberta.  For the Albertans, don't forget to join the ATBA.  The Jamboree each summer is fantastic fun for the family.

Currently in Afghanistan dreaming about hunting season!

There's a fair sized archery club in TBAY, couple of 3d shoots each season etc. And a lot of Bowhunters but only a handful of guys hunting traditional. Like I  said I'm still fairly new to it though so there might be more I just haven't run into yet

Thanks.  My two boys asked me to take them backcountry bowhunting this year.  I nearly fell over.  Can't wait to come home and start getting ready.  A year overseas missing my family and hunting.  Now I get the best of both.

I cannot type the letters r or d on my laptop any longer so difficult to send messages that make sense...I am on a tablet right now that I can use at times...to clarify I live about 170 km to the north and east of Airdrie (which is pretty much part of Calgary now)...I am about 70 km east of Red Deer in some of the best whitetail and mule deer country anywhere
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
