Thinking Bout trying a titanium goat tipi. Does Nyone have one? What's the good and bad?

If he STILL does not have a liner, and by that I mean one IN stock that you can buy TODAY, don't bother. They have been "coming soon" for years. A friend had the big one and it needed a liner bad.  We use my Kifaru.

I'd say go Kiafru or Seek Outside.  Stock and availability of tigoat stuff is terrible.  Really happy with my Kifaru Sawtooth and my brother has a 6 man from Seek Outside that is nice.  Tigoat isn't even a competitor in the market from I can see.

Perry, I have the 7.5 tigoat.  I've used it on Afognak Island for blacktails (N end of Kodiak Island).  I have also used it for my Wilderness elk hunts.  I have the small stove with it.  The entire package is very small and lightweight.

For me, it is the best set-up I've found.  On Afognak (basically a temp rainforest) there was a great deal of condensation on the inside after a nights sleep.  Using the stove helped, but it never really dried out the inside wall because of the humidity.  However, that entire island was wet and humid, so the inside of the tent was great by comparison.  I was able to dry gear and boots.

In Colorado, the condensation was minimal because of the drier air.  The condensation overall has never been something I've been concerned with because of ability to use the stove.

I do all my cooking with the stove as well.  On Afognak you could tie sticks in knots they were so wet, but once you got the stove going you were able to dry and burn anything.

I have also spent a year of my life in a canvas wall tent during the years I guided in Colorado, so the floor less design is great to me.  I bring a  drop cloth for my sleeping bag and am good to go.

very hard to beat Kifaru

There was a Ti Goat 7.5 for sale on the Kifaru site, not sure it it is still there.  For those that have used Kifaru and Seek outside tipis, which do you find is better?  In know Kifaru has a large following, and for good reason, but I hear good things about seek outside too.
