Thanks for the pictures and link to the other thread.  Boy I'm really getting excited about this hunt and hopefully a ground brush blind will work out for my set-up  :)

We, too, drew WI kill tags and plan on being there in Sept. to see if we can get a couple bruins within bow range.  Unfortunately, the hound hunters get first crack at them this year!  Good for them, but makes baiting difficult in some areas.  What zone are you hunting in?

Dan, i'll be zone C so no hound hunters. What zone did you draw?

Roughrider

We drew A.  I lived in WI for many years and have a friend who has land and a cabin in A.

If you don't have an area in C, I can point out a few areas.

Im going to try and shoot my bear off the ground I ,ant wait ifs gonna be my first bear so I have alot of learning to do

German Dog

Thanks Dan but I've got a few areas already. Actually this time around I'm dropping down to only two sites. One will be a new site but I've seen nice bear sign in it for two years now and that was without any baiting so I'm really hoping that works out. But I'll have one for back-up that will most likely be my old site.
