It depends, on what, where, and who.

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!
My good friend Rudy Bonser, while hunting elk up Indian Creek.

Both, For me it depends on how long I will be hunting, what I am hunting, and where I am hunting.

#2 for me. I've been hunting with the same bunch of guys since we were teenagers. The times we've spent together in hunting camps has been priceless. Some of us have been bringing our sons and daughters with us the past few years. Passing the tradition on to the next generation.   I do however hunt alone occasionally.
I reckon so

For most of the last 45 years I`ve hunted alone except on big trips. About 5 years ago I met a fellow stickbow shooter with the same ethics, attitude, and personality as myself and have hunted with him ever since. I`ve been out scouting for an hour or two and come out of the brush and there he is. We hunt alot alike and share info as well as each others stands. It`s just so enjoyable to hunt with him. This year work keeps him from hunting the whole first month of the season and I must admit I feel a little bit lost this year. Andy, I`m missing you this year.

both. I enjoy my time along but I also look forward hunting with my sons and wife.

I enjoy both. I like to actually hunt alone, and at the end of the day sit around with others, to compare notes, share stories, or just generally shoot the bull with. Some of my best memories from past hunts are from the time spent around the campfire after the days hunt.

Since I moved up here I mostly hunt alone, but only because I haven't yet met up with anyone that's on the same wavelength as I am when it comes to hunting.

The upside is, my son has his hunters safety certificate now, so I look forward to the times we can spend together afield.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Goodbye Shiner you were always a good dog.

Then in the 1st week of November I'll be in Shrew
Haven deer camp with the "crew".

I've done a lot of hunting alone in the past, staying a week or more by myself in the woods. That too can be a fulfilling experience.

Both
Do we ever hunt alone?I feel that my father and grandfather are with me each time I go hunting. The lessons they taught me will be with me forever.
My brother died in Aug.and I feel him when I hunt.He didn't hunt but never failed to ask how I was doing. He was forever telling me where he saw a big buck.I think he is looking down and see the rush I get when a deer comes in and thinking "oh now I understand"  :bigsmyl:
