hello, anyone know where i can get a coin for a 1958 bear grizzly? thanks, denny

Jack Shanks

They didn't start putting coins in until 1959 so that might be a tough one. Member Kurt Belle makes a replacement coin for other years though.

i know it needs the flush coin..

Hobow

Denny, that would be a '59 Grizzly.  My all original '59 Grizzly has the nickel coin.

Nice bows!

Yes, a '59. Inspect those paper tips very carefully before you start shooting it. They sometimes look ok on the surface but if the finish has started to deteriorate and moisture has gotten in, they can quickly come apart.

In my opinion, the best, quietest shooting bow ever.

Denny,

Finding an original nickel coin might be difficult. Kurt should be able to fix you up with a reproduction replacement coin. If you need his contact info PM me.

Nice Grizzly Denny. Welcome to Trad Gang from the other side of Big Walker Mountain.

bronco2

thank you sir..you shoot the grizzly yet? i shot my hoyt medalist yesterday. man it shoots great...lol

Jack Shanks

I have a couple 59 Grizzlies now and have owned a couple of others and they all had a nickel medallion. The 59 Kodiaks and Kodiak Specials had the copper coins.
