So who's ready im ready for spring turkey and bears I am. it cant get here fast enuff Turkeys in April and bears in may. it my first bear hunt so im super stoked and the wife is more excited than me for the bear as it will be her first hunt for em as well.

ChuckC

That's somethng to be excited about !  Wish my wife would hunt, or even shoot with me.

So far it looks like I didn't even draw a spring turkey tag.  First time in, well, ever !  There should be leftover tags availabe for other areas.  I can buy one of theose and still go.

Good luck in both hunts.

Jake-
Where are you going bear hunting at?

Bill Carlsen

We  have so many turkeys around here I have to wear ear plugs at night or they wake me up way too early in the morning. If Maine had a Spring  hunt I"de be all over it.
The best things in life....aren't things!

Bill I wish I had that many birds here 2yrs ago I had lots of birds where I hunt last spring everyday went a roosted and watched the flydown for a whole month the most birds that ever flew down where 12 I think we had a disease come threw or some thing I thought maybe a bobcat but we had hundreds of birds

Hermon we are going to new Brunswick to P.R. Guides and give it a shot

Ready for them thunder chickens! Saw a pile of them on the farm last time we were down gonna try to get my second one with the stick this year just picked up a 50 lb factory camo 1960 griz that once I get her set up should make an ideal partner in the spring woods.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time given to us.

Man am I ready for the birds and bears.

We start guiding/hunting for turkeys on March 23 and bears in June. These gloomy February days get me down but the gobbles just get me goin again.

I took 31 coyotes off of my turkey leases and the bird population has exploded. I can't wait to slide into that blind with my Black Widow.

Please come to Michigan. We could use ya!   :D

I to am ready for both... can't wait!

Ibow

What I should've said was I look forward to both but I'm still working on bow preference.    :)

I'm getting a jump on the gobblers this year.  I'm going after Osceolas in March, and I'll be in Quebec in June for the bears!!

Counted 56 turkeys in our yard a couple weeks ago before I lost count. Yeah, I'm ready.
Take care,
Jeff

I have been ready since the last day of deer season    :biglaugh:    We have had a good hatch the last couple years, and the turkey numbers are the best I've seen in recent memory. I sold my compound and am 100% trad now and can't wait to get after em. Went on a shed hunt/deer scouting/ turkey scouting mission on Saturday, dad found two really nice sheds and I think I've got the birds nailed.

I'm trying to talk myself out if a new bow, but dang I'd like to have one 58" or shorter and totally blacked out.

We can only take one turkey in DE but man is that one bird fun.

I second that one, we have between the EHD and fawn predation we could use a decline in yote population, that being said the past couple winters have been pretty mild and I have seen a rise in bird numbers at least here in se mich

No bear hunt for me this spring but the turkey population is looking really good.  The last two weekends I've gone stump shooting I have seen 50 to 100 birds and lots of long beards in the groups.

Jake Fr

Sweat action im glad every one is seeing birds. I hope you all get one this spring

Homebru

Ready?  No.  Excited?  Yes.  Gobblers.
homebru

Turkeys are late March for me and my first bear hunt on Bear Quest in June!

Good luck to you!
