Yup, you will be very happy!! I'm getting on the list for another one piece...I'm thinking a 58"er this time might be in order!

Dave and Beth are superb
Congrats Barry!!

My 60# limbs love the Goldtip 5575s, my 52#s, not so much.

I'd say a 54# 58" tip, drawn to 28" would like 5575s at 29" with 100 grain brassies and 125 grain heads pretty well.  You might also want some 50 grain brassies, just in case.

You're going to love that bow  :)

you just ordered the best money can buy
an great people to boot.

Congrats Barry!  That sounds like a terrific bow. The Rosewood Diamond with Macassar flare is what I bought. You'll like the look of that Rosewood. Nice draw weight too, it will feel a couple pounds lighter than some of your other fine bows.

I have to admit I had always been advised against checkered grips, friction wraps, or anything else that might cause torqueing. However, Dave's checkering feels soooooo good! To be honest I haven't shot mine enough lately to be able report one way or the other if I think the checkering matters or not to me other than a nice feel.

Thanks again for all the great feedback.

Tim, you got it wrong...  It's a Guirly Man - Pink, or VA Sunrise - Orange.  If it will help you sleep; I'll have Allen twist up a VA Sunrise.  But u know if u go PINK... Ya never go back!!!   :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

Don't worry Barry, Tim wouldn't approve unless it was black and tan!

You da man though Tim!  See you soon at Baltimore. Hard to tell which bow I will be shootin' then though!

Best grip, easy shooting I have had( well) several tips, and would definitly think about the checkering a great option.

So many amazing bowyers and bows out there today and nearly impossible to shoot them all but the silvertip will not disappoint anyone.
Good luck and enjoy!

Just shot mine today, with the checkered grip, and it was right on. Just a perfect sized handle for me.....and with a good ol' Bear Weatherrest it shoots like a champ.
