Thanks Steve, I'd be lying if I said admiration for your bows didnt heavily influence/inspire this evolving design. I am not nearly as sophisticated in the pursuit of performance as you are, and appreciate your help in the past tho to get this far. Your bows are heirloom quality pieces.  Between you and Kirk, yall are awesome being willing to help greenhorns like me.

Sixby, you make some amazing bows that are fun to look at. You and Kirk are the crazy scientists of the bowyer world and make some awesome bows, that launch fast arrows. Between Kirk's obsidian bow and your talon I don't think you could go wrong.

How much does the rear mounted limb help with draw-length i.e. Can you draw a 60" bow 32" for example?

I've never tried the 60 at 32inches to be honest. You can draw the 62 to 32 with no stack though but that is the max I have tested it. I would reccomend the 62 or the 64 for that draw. However I have found myself to be conservative compared to most mad scientists. BTW I love that Psalm and have appropriated that many times .

Great looking bows. I too am a fan of these. They are typically fast and accurrate. That is probly discusion for the bench. I have a belly mount post there if anyone wants to talk. I have my theory why these are so good.

I guess that I am partial to rear mounted limbs too, here are four Black Widows, I especially like the heavy mass weight like the top 1225 model and the bottom PSA III with the solid phenolic riser. I would like to try one of Sixbys bows also.

Wow Les. Been a while since I've seen one of those A-Frames. I had a few way back when. I think I'm the reason they added the sight bracket piece to the mould as two I had blew up right there. Careful with that one. But I was shooting 75# back then too.

Years ago I bought my wife one of those., It was the first belly mount bow we had. I liked it so much I decided to try building them and hense the Talon , Talon 11, and Storm Eagle. I was especially impressed with Marks tapers which were thinner in the sweet spot and thicker on the ends. He is quite a bowyer and has probably built more bows than any one man alive. His production and quality for the amount of bows is an icredible feat IMHO.

Please share your theory. And was it proven that rear mounted bows offer more accuracy in shooting than front mounted bows?
