So, there has been a thread or two on Miller bows and I am curious.  Those of you who hunt with a Miller longbow ( all wood - non glass ) please let me know your thoughts.  How durable are they, can you hunt with them in the cold (real cold like zero or colder) without hurting them?  How do they hold up to the briars and brambles and timber and rock scuffs, etc.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Bamboo is tough stuff I would think glass will nick and chip quicker than bamboo. I have seen several Miller and Schulz all bamboo bows and never saw nicked up or scratched up one. One thing that can happen is they can get hairline vertical cracks on the back which doesn't hurt anything strictly cosmetic. As far as the cold I couldn't say, everything gets pretty brittle in that kind of weather.
